Wastewater

For environmental protection a High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane liner system is used as a barrier to prevent contamination to valuable groundwater resources.

Design and installation are critical elements for successful containment of Wastewater. A minor breach of the liner system can have disastrous affects. Effluent leakage generates methane gas, the trapped gas collects beneath the liner forming large pockets or bubbles known as whales which leads to ultimate failure of the liner system.

We recommend using a design engineer experienced with wastewater construction. The design should include geosynthetic materials that are compatible with effluent, a gas vent and under drainage system.
